Who we are

The Rainbow Children’s Hospital Foundation is the social and philanthropic arm of Rainbow Children’s Medicare Limited. Founded by Dr. Ramesh Kancharla on September 4, 2023, the Foundation focuses on initiatives aligned with Corporate Social Responsibility, as outlined in Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013.

Guided by its core philosophy, the Foundation is committed to serving people, especially women and children, from economically disadvantaged, marginalized, and underserved backgrounds, regardless of caste, religion, or geography, across India.

Empowering Rural Communities

Supporting Swarna Bharat Trust to empowering communities through:

  • Enhancing rural living conditions by providing education, healthcare, and self-employment opportunities.
  • Bridging the rural-urban divide, fostering confidence, and contributing to national economic growth.
  • Introducing technological advancements and innovations to improve daily life.
  • Offering vocational and computer training to rural youth.
  • Educating farmers on modern farming techniques and alternate crops, while training artisans for self-employment.
  • Empowering rural women with skills for self-sufficiency, strengthening the rural economy.
  • Promoting and preserving rural culture and traditions for a sustainable future

Skill building for sustainable livelihoods

Supporting Centre for Urban and Rural Development to:

  • Empower economically disadvantaged individuals by providing skill-building training in tailoring.
  • Upon successful completion, offer sewing machines to facilitate self-employment, enabling financial independence and sustainable livelihoods

Medical Camps for children and women

Organized a free medical camp in Chennai at Vivekananda matriculation School, there by:

  • Providing free basic healthcare services tailored to the needs of women and children from underserved and marginalized communities.
  • Promoted preventive healthcare practices with a focus on early detection of health issues to ensure better long-term well-being

Enhancing learning environment in schools

Supported government Primary schools in Bengaluru and Chennai by:

  • Donating essential furniture and infrastructure items, including tables, chairs, school bags, books, stationery, shoes, socks, and water coolers, to enhancing the learning experience for students
  • To improve and operational efficiency of schools, creating a meaningful and lasting impact on the local community through dedicated support for education..

Empowering Youth through Sports

  • Provide training to Ms. Sanjana Sirimalla, renowned Indian sports personality, to promote sports and encourage both rural and nationally recognized athletics.
  • This initiative aims to advance athletic excellence, foster youth participation, and strengthen India's presence on the global sports stage.
6.

Provision of Clean Water for Health and Well-being

  • Installed a Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant and related infrastructure in Chiramana Village, Nellore District, to provide access to clean and safe drinking water.
  • This initiative aims to improve public health, reduce waterborne diseases, and enhance the overall quality of life for the local community.
